Why? (Discovery Series Booklet)

Pain and suffering. While each of our circumstances
is unique, these common experiences beg that one big
question, “Why?” Why? seeks to trace the root and causes
of our pain and suffering from a biblical perspective.
Suffering is actually a byproduct of one of God’s greatest
gifts to His creation—the gift of choice. And exercising
that freedom of choice can result in great difficulties
and challenges. The good news is that God also knows
suffering—for our sins—and that He not only understands
our pain, but He promises to be with us in it.
